I just read this article. It’s disgusting that these conservatives try to teach, and get their message across, with hate.
“We hate Woodrow Wilson,” another woman called out. This is like a secret handshake among Beck followers, who have heard his diatribes about the evils of our 28th president, a father of the Progressive Era. “I hate him,” Beck affirmed for the Woodrow Wilson-hating women at the Kennedy Center. “I hate that guy.”
Also, I don’t get the whole “We want our country back” thing. Where did it go? What happened? Dominance by the Democratic party? Change? You mean, the noticeable change that happened beginning about 10 years ago? When a certain someone was in office? Or the change from things of the past, also known as progression, which is pretty much inevitable, and in most cases, happens for a reason. Yeah, because ‘your way’ clearly wasn’t working.
These people hate for the sake of hating anyone who isn’t like them. They’re totally intolerant. That’s what “Being American” is starting to sound like to me. Speaking for myself, I just don’t understand them and find it incredibly sad.
