Who doesn't love to get mail?
I just signed up for a bunch of catalogs. I apologize if I’m not being very ‘green’ :-/ but sometimes I have to break away from the digital world. Any catalogs you suggest I sign up for?

Jer got me a trip to New Orleans for my Birthday :-D We’re going in April during the French Quarter Festival! He really is the best :) :)
Today
I am 24. Woah!!
Yeah, she’s not the smartest tool in the shed… Sharpest? Sharpest...

Heading to Boston for the rest of the week with the bear I like to call Jer.

On the subway. Sitting across from this nasty girl who is seriously hard to look at and unbelievably irritating with her Brooklyn accent that escapes her mouth when she’s not too busy chewing her gum like a cow. She’s probably how Nancy ala Sid and Nancy used to be. I want to punch her in her ugly mug.
Yeah, this can’t even be blamed on PMS.
tuneage:
Tristen - “Matchstick Murder”
I love this song. I love this video, which lets us sneak a peak at an indie rock dinner party gone wrong. The adorably charming Tristen is originally from Chicago, but currently resides in Nashville… the perfect place for her to craft her folky twang and vocal harmonies.
If you’re in the NYC area, Tristen will be playing a free show at The Living Room...
This was my first full week back in the working...
And as much as I really dig my job, I’m so happy it’s Friday!!
jayson:
Vampire Weekend’s new video for “Cousins” (as well as the song itself) melts my brain into a happily confused puddle of goo.
NerdRock!
The intern in my office reminds me of Jessica from True Blood. Probs because she’s a ginger with long gingery hair.
I just got an email from an Iranian rock band
This intrigues me and makes me kind of sad…
This is Milad Tangshir from Iranian rock/metal band Ahoora; we’ve been the first metal band that has ever performed in Iran with vocals; but we’ve been a banned act since, because any form of rock is forbidden in Iran. We’ve released two albums illegally in 2006 & 2007 that has brought us warm global attentions within the underground media...
Getting press is so much simpler in the metal...
Nice knowin ya, Indie Rock.
I'm in a funk
How do you beat this (negative) mind over matter shit?
Breaking:
I tried yogurt… and liked it. You still wont catch me eating Pinkberry though…blech!
I really hate PCs.
Stupid, stupid machines.
It's taken me a while to realize this
But it’s not New Yorkers that are weird. All the weirdos come from other places and congregate in New York City because we’re just that cool?
*This stroke of brilliance came to me on the subway, FYI. Also, I’m not sayin weirdos are bad :)
So yeah
That press release I was ‘bitching’ about writing? Totally only took me like, an hour to finish and had to do couple of minor edits. I rule!
Wanna know what's fun?
Writing a press release on a band you never heard, let alone heard of, on a computer that doesn’t have speakers making it impossible to get an idea of what they even sound like and preventing you to write some awesome description about them!

Last day of unemployment
Kinda having some mixed emotions :-X
Off to see the Yeah Yeah Yeahs tonight.
Yeah!
Weekend update
This is going to be a fun weekend. Today, Tiff and I are getting mani/pedis, w00t! Yay girlyness :) Then there is the Yeah Yeah Yeahs show tonight! Followed by my friend and fellow Tumblr, Jay, playing a show with his band Venice Sunlight at 10pm at Parkside Lounge (you should come).
Tomorrow Jer and I are going on a walking tour of the LES then heading to Long Island for my friend’s...
I have a job!
You’re looking at the new in house publicist at The End Records. Metal, here I come!
In honor of November the 5th
I shall watch V For Vendetta at some point today
As many of you might know, I have a thing for subway history. Today, while waiting for the A/C train at 14th Street, an old R1 model ‘A’ train comes through the station on the uptown track. (300 R1 trains were built between 1930-1931 and were retired by 1970). I kinda stood there with my mouth open thinking “That’s so cool! What is it doing here?” Guess I wont know...
Things are looking up...
Dear Ric Burns,
New York: A Documentary Film is probably my favorite documentary ever. I recommend it to all my friends who want to learn about New York and can now impressively spew out random facts about this wonderful city of ours. I was wondering if you could make one about Brooklyn. That’d seriously rock.
Sincerely,
Amy (New York City history aficionado)

Holy hell it IS the end of the decade. Inconceivable!
